The great attorneys know that preparation above all else is how to put the client in the best position to achieve a favorable result. This firm uses preparation, hard work, and an aggressive style of practice to get the results our clients demand and deserve. True preparation is not a skill that can be learned; rather, it is an inherent quality possessed by few, but envied by many.
Direct Contact
You deserve direct and frequent communication with your attorneys, not staff. As attorneys’ practices grow, the usual reaction is to hire more staff. The problem with this approach is that attorneys get isolated from clients and spend most of their time managing the staff (at the client’s expense). We’ve now structured our office so that you will be dealing with an attorney, not an employee of the attorney.
Fearless Use of the Court System
Many attorneys fail to use the court system to their client’s advantage. Many will shy away from a court hearing, and try to convince their clients to settle. In reality, a better outcome is likely found in court, or a better settlement can be achieved before a hearing due to the other side’s fear of the courtroom. The reason for this is that court is stressful for attorneys and clients, difficult to predict, and may expose the lesser attorney’s limitations. Attorneys hate to lose, but we love to win.

The Truth, Even When it Hurts
Most other attorneys, like everyone, tend to tell people what they want to hear. This is especially true at the beginning of the representation, before the hard work starts. We don’t think this is helpful to clients, and in fact, we are sure this approach harms a client’s case. We are not shy about telling our clients what we think they need to do, whether they want to hear it or not. Of course, what to do is up to our clients, but they never lack for strong, helpful guidance. Bottom line: you will get the truth – good, bad, or ugly – from us at all times, because that is what you will need to survive this process.
